Japan Camera Inspection Institute is founded.

May 1973

The name of institute is changed to "Japan Camera and Optical Instruments Inspection and Testing Institute".

May 1986

The exhibition "Development of Camera in Japan" is held at the National Science Museum of Japan in Ueno, Tokyo.

November 1989

JCII Camera Museum opens.

April 1991

JCII Photo Salon opens.

June 1991

JCII Library opens.

September 1991

JCII Photo Clinic starts.

May 1994

JCII Club25, darkroom, and studio open.

October 1999

The name of institute is changed to "Japan Camera Industry Institute".

December 2000

JCII Camera Museum becomes a registered museum in Tokyo.
